Two individuals are in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a serious collision near Whitehall Garden Centre this morning, Tuesday, October 21. The crash occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Corsham Road, Lacock, involving a car and a minibus taxi.
The car driver, a woman in her 50s, and a passenger in the minibus, a woman in her 40s, sustained life-threatening injuries and were immediately transported to hospital. The taxi driver was also taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
Emergency services continue to manage the scene, with road closures still in effect. Wiltshire Police have urged anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant dashcam footage to come forward.

A police spokesperson stated, “Two individuals remain in a life-threatening condition following this two-vehicle collision. We ask witnesses to contact our Serious Collision Investigation Team to assist with the ongoing investigation.”
