Antonio Monteiro, a devoted father and husband from Andover, has tragically passed away following a motorbike accident near Somerset. The 43-year-old was involved in a collision with a Land Rover and a Volkswagen ID3 on the A346 in Collingbourne Ducis shortly after 10 a.m. on April 19.
Airlifted to Southampton Hospital with life-threatening injuries, Antonio sadly succumbed to his wounds last weekend.
His family released a heartfelt statement honoring his memory: “It’s difficult to sum Antonio up in a few words as he meant a lot to his wife, son, family, friends, and colleagues. Antonio had a massive heart, a contagious smile, and was a very joyful person on top of being an amazing father and husband. He will be hugely missed by all but remembered for his love for motorbikes and his compassion for others.”
