Heartfelt tributes have poured in for Antonio Monteiro, a devoted father and husband who tragically died in a motorbike accident near Somerset.
The 43-year-old, from Andover, was involved in a collision on the A346 in Collingbourne Ducis shortly after 10 a.m. on April 19. His motorcycle collided with a Land Rover and a Volkswagen ID3, leaving Antonio with life-threatening injuries. Despite swift medical response and being airlifted to Southampton Hospital, Antonio sadly passed away last weekend.
In a moving statement, his family described Antonio as a man with a huge heart and a radiant smile, whose joyful nature touched everyone around him. “Antonio was more than just an amazing father and husband; he was a source of love and kindness to family, friends, and colleagues alike,” they said. “He will be deeply missed, but his love for motorbikes and his compassion will never be forgotten.”
