A tractor driver and a motorcyclist are both critically injured after a severe collision near Glastonbury on Thursday morning. The accident occurred at approximately 9:58 a.m. on May 29 along the B3151 Meare Road.
The tractor driver had exited a stationary yellow and green John Deere tractor, which was towing a trailer, when they were struck by a passing green Kawasaki ZX Ninja motorcycle traveling towards Glastonbury.
Both individuals sustained life-threatening injuries and are currently receiving treatment in hospital. Their next of kin have been informed of their conditions.

The B3151 Meare Road was closed for several hours while police conducted a thorough investigation at the crash scene. The road reopened around 8:20 p.m. on the same day.
Avon and Somerset Police are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of the vehicles before the crash to come forward. Witnesses can contact police by calling 101 and quoting the reference number 5225149275, or by completing an online appeals form.
