Avon and Somerset Police have launched an investigation after a GPS tracker was found hidden beneath a victim’s car in Wincanton. The incident, which occurred on Monday, November 10, 2025, follows reports of stalking and surveillance around a residential address in the south Somerset town.
Officers are looking into claims that an unknown man was spotted taking photographs outside the property. The subsequent discovery of the tracking device under the victim’s vehicle has heightened concerns and prompted an urgent inquiry.
Authorities have released an image of the suspect, describing him as a white male of medium build with short white or grey hair. At the time, he was wearing dark jeans, a grey jumper, and a black puffed jacket. Police believe this individual may have crucial information related to the stalking case.
