Tom de Glanville Commits Long-Term Future to Bath Rugby

Bath Rugby has secured a vital signing with Tom de Glanville agreeing to a new contract that will keep him at The Rec until 2028. The 26-year-old fullback and Bath Academy product has grown into a key player over seven years, amassing 107 appearances and becoming an integral part of the squad.

Despite speculation linking him to a move to Exeter Chiefs, de Glanville reaffirmed his loyalty to Bath, extending his stay for an additional two years. Speaking on the new deal, he expressed deep appreciation for the club and its supporters: “This club and the special people within it have become family to me. It’s a privilege to represent the Blue, Black and White at The Rec, and I’ll never take it for granted. I’m so grateful to all the fans for their support through the tough times and the good, and that’s what makes this club so special. I can’t wait for what is to come on this journey.”

Johann van Graan, Bath’s Head of Rugby, praised de Glanville’s dedication and influence, calling him “an incredible team man and a very important player in our group.” He added, “Tom is certainly one of the unsung heroes of our team, the DNA of the squad. Tom and his family have a rich history with the club, and we are grateful the Blue, Black and White will continue to flow through his veins.”
