Bath Rugby has confirmed that Tom de Glanville, a cornerstone of the team and a proud product of the Bath Rugby Academy, has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2028. The 26-year-old full back has been an essential player over the past seven years, amassing 107 appearances while becoming deeply embedded in the club’s culture.
Speculation had risen about a possible move to Exeter Chiefs, but de Glanville has chosen to continue his journey with Bath, reaffirming his loyalty and commitment to the Blue, Black, and White.
Reflecting on his time with Bath, de Glanville shared, “This club and the special people within it have become family to me. It’s a privilege to represent the Blue, Black, and White at The Rec, and I’ll never take that for granted. I’m incredibly grateful for the unwavering support from all the fans through both the highs and lows — that’s what makes this club truly special. I’m excited about what lies ahead on this journey.”
