Prepare to be transported back to the age of knights and chivalry as the Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show in Dorset presents one of the UK’s most electrifying theatrical horse events on August 13th and 14th.
For the first time in Dorset, The Knights of Albion, a premier jousting troupe, will dazzle audiences with heart-stopping jousts featuring captivating storylines, authentic medieval armor, and vivid costumes. This ensemble of professional stunt riders, jousters, and performers will showcase breathtaking displays with trick-trained horses that bring the medieval spectacle to life.
Tom Armstrong-Frost of Outlaw Entertainments, who oversees this spectacular show and works as a stunt rider in TV and film, shared his enthusiasm:
“Our team of talented professionals is devoted to delivering the thrilling magic of medieval jousting. Spectators can root for their favourite knights and even meet the heroes, villains, and their noble steeds up close.”
