Three Teenagers Charged After Man Stabbed in Weston-super-Mare

Three teenagers have been charged following a stabbing incident in Weston-super-Mare on Friday, March 6. The assault occurred at around 11:40 pm on Oxford Street, where a man sustained puncture wounds to his arm.

The victim was promptly taken to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as serious but neither life-threatening nor life-changing. He has since been discharged.

Avon and Somerset Police have charged 18-year-old Jo Junior Martin of Laira Bridge Road, Plymouth; an unnamed 17-year-old boy; and 18-year-old Nathaniel Ashman-Stanislaus of Frenchay Road, Weston-super-Mare. Martin and the 17-year-old face charges of wounding with intent, with the younger being additionally charged with possession of a bladed article. Ashman-Stanislaus has been charged with affray.

All three are scheduled to appear at North Somerset Magistrates' Court on Monday, March 9.

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that the incident involved an assault that led to the victim’s arm injuries. The force continues to investigate the matter.
