Three Somerset pubs have been named among the UK’s finest at the prestigious National Pub and Bar Awards 2026. Now in its 10th year, the annual ceremony celebrates excellence in hospitality across the country, with the winners set to be announced on June 10 in London.
Out of 252 Highly Commended pubs and bars across the UK, these venues have progressed to the National Pub and Bar Awards Grand Final. Here, 94 winners will be crowned, including county champions, regional victors, and the coveted National Pub and Bar of the Year.

The Bower Inn in Bridgwater: An 18th-century converted farmhouse renowned for its warm atmosphere and quality fare.

The Swan Inn in Rowberrow: A Grade II-listed 17th-century pub situated on the edge of the scenic Mendip Hills.

The Manor House Inn: Recently renovated and praised for its inviting ambiance and community spirit.
At the June awards ceremony, each of these pubs will receive certificates recognizing their Highly Commended status, preceding the announcement of the county winner.

In addition to county awards, the event will reveal the Industry’s Choice Award, decided by a panel of 400 industry judges, alongside consumer-voted accolades including Pub Group of the Year, Bar Group of the Year, and the Tyrrells Tyrrellbly Good Taste Award.
