Three Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run Crash on A46 Near Bath

Three individuals are in hospital following a hit-and-run crash on the A46 near Bath. Avon and Somerset Police responded promptly to reports of the accident on Gloucester Road near Upper Swainswick at 3:06 pm. The collision involved a white Dacia and a black Range Rover.

Emergency crews transported the three occupants of the Dacia to hospital, while the driver of the Range Rover fled the scene. Authorities are actively searching for the Range Rover driver as investigations continue.

Currently, the A46 is closed between the junctions with London Road and the A420 to allow for a thorough examination of the crash site.
