Three Arrested After Stabbing Incident in Sturminster Newton

Three individuals have been arrested in connection with a violent stabbing incident in Stourcastle, Sturminster Newton. The incident occurred at an address on Tuesday, September 30, prompting a swift police response.

Dorset Police reported receiving a call at 4:54 pm about a man who had sustained suspected stab wounds during an assault. A woman was also reportedly assaulted at the scene but did not suffer serious injuries.

Emergency services arrived promptly, and the male victim was transported to the hospital with injuries described as serious but not life-threatening.

Law enforcement arrested an 18-year-old man from Sturminster Newton on suspicion of attempted murder, as well as a 53-year-old local woman on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. The younger man remains in police custody, while the woman has been released on police bail.

After further investigation, a 20-year-old man from Weymouth was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently held in custody.
