A third individual has been apprehended in connection with a serious attack that took place in Apex Park, Burnham-on-Sea, earlier this week.
Emergency services responded to the scene at approximately 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27. A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, following the assault on three victims.
Shortly after the incident was reported, a 22-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were also detained. All three suspects have since been released on conditional bail, according to police.

Among the victims, one person remains hospitalized, receiving treatment for injuries described as potentially life-altering. The other two injured individuals have been discharged and are continuing their recovery at home.
Authorities believe all parties involved are acquainted with each other, and police have confirmed they are not seeking any additional suspects.
Law enforcement plans to increase patrols in the Apex Park area and encourages any witnesses or concerned residents to contact them.
