A third victim has tragically died as a result of a crash involving a red Toyota Prius and three Vespa scooters on the A36 near Knook, Warminster, Wiltshire. The collision occurred on Saturday, May 31, at approximately 10:30 a.m.
The latest fatality is a man in his 60s who was riding one of the Vespas. He succumbed to his injuries in hospital on the evening of Thursday, June 12. Wiltshire Police confirmed that his next of kin have been informed and expressed their condolences to the family.
Among the victims was Robert Best, 62, from Bradley Stoke in South Gloucestershire, who died at the scene. He had been traveling with a friend to Normandy when the crash occurred.

On June 5, a woman in her 60s, who was a passenger on the third Vespa, also passed away in hospital. This means that each of the three Vespas involved in the accident had at least one person who did not survive.
Wiltshire Police continue to investigate the collision and are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
