Detectives investigating a significant arson case in Glastonbury have made a third arrest following a fire that destroyed multiple caravans and caused extensive damage to a nearby Tesco superstore.
The fire broke out on Beckery New Road at approximately 8:15 pm on Saturday, June 13. It severely damaged three caravans and left the Tesco building badly scorched, prompting a swift emergency response.
Police initially arrested two individuals on Sunday, June 14—a man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s. Both were subsequently released on conditional police bail as the investigation continued.

On June 18, Avon and Somerset Police announced the arrest of a third suspect, a man in his 20s, on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life. He remains in police custody.
