‘The Most Enjoyable Years of My Career’ – Quinn Roux Re-signs with Bath Rugby

Bath Rugby is pleased to announce that Quinn Roux, the seasoned Irish international lock, has extended his contract with the club for another year. The 35-year-old second row, who joined Bath ahead of the 2022/23 season initially as injury cover, has become a vital leadership figure within the squad. This marks Roux’s fifth consecutive season representing the Blue, Black, and White.

Since joining Bath, the South African-born lock has made a significant impact, including playing a key role in Bath’s triumphant 2024/25 triple trophy-winning campaign. To date, he has earned 63 appearances for the club, underlining his consistency and commitment.

Roux brings a wealth of experience having competed across multiple top-tier competitions before joining Bath, including the United Rugby Championship (URC), France’s Top 14, Super Rugby, and the Gallagher Premiership. On the international stage, he earned 16 caps playing for Ireland between 2016 and 2020.

Reflecting on his decision to stay, Roux shared, “The last few years with this club have been some of the most enjoyable years of my career. I’m not ready to end it just yet.”

Bath’s head of rugby, Johann van Graan, praised Roux’s influence both on and off the pitch: “One of the quieter men of the team, letting his rugby speak louder than words, Quinn has developed into an essential figure for Bath. We’re delighted that he and his family will continue with us on this journey.”
