Nestled in Somerset, The Bear Inn has introduced an enticing new fixed-price menu with a twist of seasonal flavors. Available Monday through Thursday, the prix-fixe menu offers a carefully curated selection of dishes designed to elevate midweek dining experiences.
The ever-changing menu features starters like spicy whitebait with tartare sauce, a classic pork pie, and roast beets with labneh, wild garlic, lovage pesto, and smoked almonds. Mains include options such as king prawn linguine, chicken chasseur with roast garlic mash, and a fried mushroom Ve-de-ya pizza fritti topped with superstraccia and basil pesto. Indulgent dessert choices range from peach melba crumble to double chocolate and banana brownie paired with banana split ice cream and a coffee panna cotta drizzled with orange syrup and candied pecans.
The Metropolitan Pub Company, owner of The Bear Inn, aims to provide a high-quality dining experience, with the menu rotating every six weeks to showcase the finest seasonal ingredients.

The new prix-fixe menu launched on April 7, offering two courses for £18 and three courses for £22 from 3pm to 8pm, making it the perfect option for a midweek treat or a casual get-together with friends.
