A teenager sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run incident that took place in Royal Victoria Park, Bath, on the evening of Saturday, July 11. The young man, in his late teens, was sitting on a bench around 7:40 pm when he was struck by a vehicle whose driver failed to stop.
Avon and Somerset Police reported that the collision caused significant damage to the teenager’s ankle, necessitating immediate hospital treatment. Fortunately, he has since been discharged and continues his recovery at home with police maintaining contact.
The suspect is described as a medium-built woman with blonde hair, wearing sunglasses and a black cardigan. The vehicle involved is believed to be a dark grey or black hatchback, similar to a Renault Megane.

Authorities are actively investigating the incident and are particularly eager to speak with a man who assisted the injured teenager by taking him to the hospital. Police urge anyone who witnessed the event, or who possesses dashcam or mobile footage that could aid their investigation, to come forward.
