A teenager suffered serious ankle injuries after being hit by a car in a hit-and-run incident at Royal Victoria Park, Bath. The collision occurred at approximately 7:40 pm on Saturday, July 11, when the young man, seated on a park bench, was struck by a vehicle whose driver failed to stop.
Emergency services were called to the scene promptly, and the injured teenager was transported to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged and is continuing his recovery at home, with police maintaining contact to support him.
Avon and Somerset Police have described the driver as a woman of medium build with blonde hair. At the time, she was reportedly wearing sunglasses and a black cardigan, and was driving a dark grey or black hatchback, likely a Renault Megane.

The police investigation is ongoing, and officers are keen to speak with a man who assisted by taking the injured teen to hospital after the incident.
