A teenager sustained serious injuries following a hit-and-run incident in Royal Victoria Park, Bath, on the evening of Saturday, July 11. The teenage male, believed to be in his late teens, was sitting on a bench at approximately 7:40 pm when a vehicle struck him and then fled without stopping.
Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed that the collision caused significant damage to the teen’s ankle, necessitating hospital treatment. Fortunately, he was later discharged and will continue his recovery at home, with ongoing support from the police.
Investigators describe the driver as a woman of medium build with blonde hair. At the time of the incident, she was reportedly wearing sunglasses and a black cardigan, driving a dark grey or black hatchback resembling a Renault Megane.

Police officers are actively pursuing leads and have appealed for information, especially seeking to speak with a man who transported the injured teenager to the hospital.
