Teenager Dies in Collision Between Car and Tipper Truck on A4 Bath Road

A tragic collision between a car and a tipper truck on Thursday, July 24, claimed the life of a 19-year-old woman. The accident occurred at approximately 1:30 pm on the A4 Bath Road in Corsham, near the boundary between Wiltshire and Somerset.

The crash took place at the junction with the B3109 and involved a Hyundai i10 and a Scania tipper lorry. The 19-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Hyundai, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have informed her next of kin.

Wiltshire Police expressed their condolences, stating, “Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.”

The female driver of the car and a male passenger sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment in hospital. The driver of the tipper truck was not injured.
