A tragic incident unfolded on the afternoon of January 31 in Chippenham, Wiltshire, when a 16-year-old boy was fatally stabbed. Emergency services responded to reports of a stabbing on London Road shortly before 4 PM, where the injured teenager was discovered and rushed to the hospital.
Despite medical efforts, the boy succumbed to his injuries. Wiltshire Police have confirmed his next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers during this difficult time. Police have urged the community to respect the family’s privacy.
In connection with the incident, a 15-year-old boy was arrested shortly after the stabbing and remains in police custody as investigations continue.
