A 16-year-old boy was assaulted during an altercation in Victoria Park, Taunton. According to police reports, the incident involved a confrontation between a man and three teenage boys. During the encounter, the man punched and kicked one of the teenagers.
Fortunately, the victim did not sustain serious injuries. Authorities have informed the boy’s family and are keeping them updated on the investigation.
Officers have since released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the attack. The suspect is described as a slim individual with a grey beard, wearing a bowler hat. He was also seen carrying several carrier bags and riding a bicycle at the time of the incident.

The assault took place at approximately 11:30 pm on Friday, January 16. Police urge anyone who recognizes the man or has information related to the case to contact them using the reference number 5226014756.
