Teenage Woman Seriously Injured in Motorbike-Car Collision Near Cleeve Garden Centre

A teenage woman remains hospitalized with serious injuries after a collision involving a motorbike and a car near Cleeve Garden Centre on Tuesday, June 17.

The accident occurred shortly after 5:30 pm on the A370 Main Road and involved a blue Suzuki SV 650 motorbike and a blue Ford Fiesta. Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene following reports of injuries.

The motorbike rider, a woman in her late teens, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where she remains under care. Her next of kin have been notified. The car driver, a man in his twenties, was also transported to the hospital as a precaution, and his family has been informed.

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the road between Meetinghouse Lane and Cleeve Garden Centre was reopened by 1:30 am the following morning after specialist collision investigation and vehicle recovery were completed.
