Teen Tragically Dies After Stabbing in Chippenham; Second Boy Arrested

A 16-year-old boy has died from stab wounds sustained in an incident on London Road, Chippenham, on Saturday afternoon. Emergency services were called just before 4 p.m. on January 31, where the teenager was found seriously injured.

Shortly after, a 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the stabbing and remains in police custody. The 16-year-old succumbed to his injuries in hospital, according to an update from Wiltshire Police.

The victim’s family has been informed and is receiving support from specially trained officers. Authorities have asked for privacy during this difficult time.

Detective Inspector Darren Ambrose, leading the investigation, described the event as a tragedy that has deeply affected the local community.
