A 16-year-old boy was assaulted in Victoria Park, Taunton, during an altercation involving a group of three teenage boys and a man. Police responded to reports of the incident, which occurred around 11:30 pm on Friday, January 16.
According to Avon and Somerset Police, the man punched and kicked the teenager, but thankfully, the victim did not sustain any serious injuries. The boy’s family has been informed and is receiving ongoing updates from authorities.
Following their investigation, officers have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to question. The suspect is described as slim, with a grey beard, wearing a bowler hat, and carrying several carrier bags. He was also seen riding a bicycle at the time of the incident.
