A taxi driver in Weston-super-Mare was reportedly racially abused and physically attacked on Saturday, June 6, shortly before 3 p.m. The incident occurred on Clevedon Road, prompting a police investigation.
Avon and Somerset Police have charged 22-year-old Kai Easen, of Haydock Wick in Swindon, with multiple offenses including racially or religiously aggravated actual bodily harm, two counts of causing actual bodily harm, making threats to kill, and assaulting an emergency worker.
Easen has been released on bail pending a court appearance scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, at North Somerset Magistrates' Court.

In connection with the incident, a 21-year-old woman from Swindon was also arrested but has since been released on conditional bail as inquiries continue.
