A woman from Taunton has died following a collision with a motorcycle on the A379 Torquay Road in Shaldon, Devon. The incident occurred around 1:30 pm on Friday, July 3.
Devon and Cornwall Police reported that emergency services responded promptly to the crash involving a silver motorcycle and a pedestrian. The victim, a woman in her 60s, tragically died at the scene despite immediate medical efforts.
The road was closed between The Holiday Park and Ness Drive — the turn-off to Shaldon Zoo — as authorities conducted a full investigation into the collision.
