Taunton Mosque Vandalized in Early Morning Attack

Authorities are investigating an act of vandalism at a mosque in Taunton, where several windows were smashed in the early hours of Saturday, September 6. The incident occurred at Ivor House on Tower Lane at approximately 6:40 a.m.

Avon and Somerset Police have released CCTV images featuring two men they wish to identify in connection with the damage. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The first suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, aged between 20 and 30 years, clean-shaven, wearing a red coat and beige cargo trousers. The second individual is also a white male, shorter in stature, around 20 to 30 years old, sporting a ginger beard, and dressed in a chequered red jacket, blue jeans, and a white shirt.

Officers will continue their investigation at the scene and welcome the public’s assistance.
