Police are appealing for help after a man suffered a broken jaw during an assault inside a Taunton pub. The incident took place at around 9pm on August 8 at a venue on East Street. The victim, a man in his mid-40s, was socializing with a group when another individual became aggressive and struck him in the face, causing him to fall to the floor.
Following the attack, the injured man was taken to hospital and treated for a broken jaw. He has since been discharged and is recovering at home.
Avon and Somerset Police have released CCTV footage showing a suspect they wish to identify. The man is described as white, approximately 5ft 10ins tall, with blonde hair, estimated to be in his late teens, and wearing a cream-colored hooded jumper.
