Manoj Chinthathira, a 29-year-old resident of Wilfred Road, Taunton, appeared at North Somerset Courthouse on Tuesday, October 14, facing serious charges related to a sexual assault incident. He has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of strangulation following an attack that occurred overnight on Saturday, October 11, in Victoria Park, Taunton.
Following his court appearance, Chinthathira was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear at Taunton Crown Court on Friday, November 14.
