Oliver Ager, a 33-year-old man from East Reach, Taunton, has been formally charged in connection with multiple sexual assault allegations. The charges, presented at Taunton Magistrates’ Court on May 13, include two counts of outraging public decency on May 1 and May 12, as well as eight counts of sexual assault by touching between April 19 and 30.
Avon and Somerset Police reported that several women have come forward accusing Ager of inappropriately touching them over their clothing without consent as they walked by him in public spaces. Following the charges, Ager has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Taunton Crown Court on June 12.
