Located west of Nerrols Drive in the Priorswood area, near Nerrols Primary School, Stoney Furlong Field has been a repeated target for unauthorised encampments. Previously, bollards were installed following an unauthorised occupation in summer 2025 to restrict vehicle access. At a recent executive meeting, Taunton North division member Tom Deakin requested further actions such as stone boulders to enhance the site’s protection.
