These scanners, installed in August 2025 as a temporary solution during the construction of a new diagnostic centre in Bridgwater, were recently taken away by the Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. This decision forces patients to travel significant distances to Musgrove Park Hospital or the Bridgwater diagnostic centre, causing added stress and expense.
