The Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment (SACT) Centre, established earlier this year by the Royal United Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (RUH), has already treated 200 patients. Previously, many patients faced lengthy journeys to Bath for their cancer care, traveling up to 15 miles each way—taking around 40 minutes by car or over an hour by public transport.
