The attack took place around 3 pm on Saturday, June 7, on Clevedon Road, as festival-goers were heading home. When a 22-year-old man and 21-year-old woman from Swindon targeted the taxi driver, two bystanders—a 61-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man—stepped in to help. Both were also assaulted in the process and sustained facial injuries.
