The incident occurred around 7:45 a.m. on July 14. According to Avon and Somerset Police, a white car collided with the pedestrian on the forecourt before fleeing without stopping to assist or provide any information. The victim sustained serious injuries, though they are not believed to be life-threatening, and is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
