Ian Duff, a Big Issue vendor on Union Street in Bath, shared his struggles coping with the soaring temperatures. “This heatwave, it’s really hard. I’m only working a couple of hours a day. It’s not as easy as everyone thinks,” he said. Bath is expected to hit a peak of 32 degrees Celsius on Saturday, following two record-breaking heatwaves in May and June.
