PC James McClements, who resigned from Dorset Police prior to the misconduct proceedings, pleaded guilty to misconduct in public office on April 10. The misconduct panel held at Dorset Police headquarters in Winfrith on May 19 confirmed that McClements breached multiple standards of professional behavior, including discreditable conduct, abuse of authority, lack of respect and courtesy, and failure in duties and responsibilities.
