The single-vehicle accident occurred around 7 a.m., when the car left the road and came to rest in the field, trapping the driver inside. The Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service responded promptly after receiving a call from Avon and Somerset Police. Two fire crews—one from Frome and another from Radstock—were dispatched to the scene.
