The incident occurred between Rooksbridge and Axbridge on the evening of Thursday, May 21. At approximately 7:25 pm, officers spotted a vehicle connected to a wanted person. When the driver failed to stop, a pursuit ensued. Just three minutes later, at 7:28 pm, the police car collided with another vehicle unrelated to the chase.
