The fire was reported to Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service at approximately 9 p.m. Three fire appliances from Street, Glastonbury, and Somerton stations responded to the incident. Upon arrival, firefighters found the fire located in a first-floor en suite bathroom of a mid-terrace property. The occupants evacuated safely before the fire crews isolated the electrics and extinguished the blaze using a hose reel jet.
