Aria was tragically killed on December 15 at her home in Weston-super-Mare. The defendant, who was 15 at the time and cannot be named due to his age, was acquitted following a trial at Bristol Crown Court on June 25. During the proceedings, the jury heard that Aria suffered a fatal knife wound to the chest.
