The George Inn, nestled in the village of Norton St Philip, Somerset, has been honored as the ‘AA Inn of the Year’ at the AA’s prestigious Hospitality Awards, securing its place as the Best Inn in the UK.

With a rich history dating back to 1397, this Grade I-listed 14th Century Tudor inn is one of England’s oldest and most beloved establishments. Having already earned the title ‘AA Inn of the Year, England’ earlier this year at the annual Bed and Breakfast Awards, The George Inn has now taken the ultimate crown.

The award ceremony took place at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House and was hosted by well-known television and radio personality Vernon Kay. The event celebrated the finest hotels, restaurants, inns, and B&Bs across the UK with awards spanning 18 categories, including AA Chefs' Chef of the Year, AA Spa Hotel of the Year, and the new AA Rising Star Award.
