Students in Bath are gearing up for a day filled with savings, freebies, and fun as SouthGate Bath hosts its much-anticipated annual Student Shopping Event. Taking place on Saturday, September 27, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., this event offers students a chance to enjoy discounts of up to 20% at popular high-street stores including Rituals, Oliver Bonas, Lululemon, and Office.
Alongside the shopping deals, attendees can participate in engaging activities such as a drop-shot challenge with hundreds of prizes up for grabs. Additionally, the first 500 students to sign up for the newsletter at the event desk will receive a limited-edition tote bag as a token of appreciation.
The event also encourages students to give back by supporting local charities through a Charity Ball Drop. Participants can vote for their preferred organization among Bath Cats and Dogs Home, Student Minds, and Bath Foodbank. To foster a positive and supportive community, a “Manifestation Wall” will be available for attendees to share uplifting messages welcoming the new term.

Food lovers will find special offers across the centre’s restaurants, making it a perfect opportunity to enjoy tasty treats while shopping.
Guy Henderson, Centre Director at SouthGate Bath, emphasized the significance of the event: “Our annual student event has become a staple for new and returning students to celebrate another year in the city. We’re so grateful to our retailers and restaurants for providing such a wide range of prizes and offers, and we can’t wait to welcome students this September to kick start the new term in the best way possible.”
