Avon and Somerset Police are urgently seeking information following a violent assault at a Bridgwater bar that left a man hospitalized with serious injuries. The attack occurred on St Mary’s Street around 11:20 pm on Sunday, 24 May, during the late May bank holiday weekend.
The victim, who was attacked by two unknown men, sustained assault-related injuries including a black eye and a spinal injury. Although he has been discharged from the hospital, he continues to recover at home with ongoing support from police and healthcare services.
Authorities have released CCTV images of the two suspects to aid in their identification. The first suspect is described as a white male with a shaved head, wearing a white polo shirt. The second is also white with a tanned complexion, short hair shaved on the sides, and similarly dressed in a white polo shirt.

Police are appealing to anyone with information about the suspects or the incident to come forward. Witnesses can contact Avon and Somerset Police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 5226145153, or by submitting details through the police online appeals form.
