Somerset’s Finest Lifestyle Businesses Shine in the 2026 Muddy Stilettos Awards

The much-anticipated Muddy Stilettos Awards have unveiled the finalists celebrating the very best independent lifestyle businesses across Somerset and its neighbouring regions. Following an incredible response last year—with 20,000 business nominations and nearly half a million votes—this year’s 2026 Finals boast 4,830 finalists across 23 regions, including Dorset, Somerset, and Bristol.

Recognised as the UK’s leading lifestyle awards, the Muddy Stilettos Awards cover 21 diverse categories. This year, only the top 10 nominees by volume have advanced to the finals, showcasing outstanding talent and enterprise in areas such as fashion, interiors, artisan food, wellness, and hospitality.

Voting is now open until 26 May 2026, inviting customers, friends, and family alike to champion their favourite businesses. New categories, including Best-Loved Pub, Best Artisan Food & Drink Producer, Best Afternoon Tea, Wellness Breaks, and Fashion & Interiors, enrich the competition and highlight diverse lifestyle experiences.

From cosy eateries and artisan producers to wellness retreats and vibrant arts venues, the finalists epitomise the passion and creativity thriving in the region. Notable finalists include Emberwood in Bath, Moonfleet Manor near Weymouth, Black Swan Arts in Frome, and Bar Lotte in Frome, among many others.

The full list spans a remarkable array of businesses: from coffee shops like Bean Shot Coffee in Bruton, bakeries such as Lievito Bakery near Castle Cary, to cultural destinations like Dorset Art Weeks. Hospitality gems like The Pump Room in Bath and The Nici in Bournemouth also feature.

Beyond culinary delights and hospitality, finalists in wellness and beauty, including Chapel Row Beauty Rooms and Nu Face Aesthetics, highlight the region’s dedication to health and wellbeing. Meanwhile, unique accommodations like Hadspen Glamping and Myrtle Farm Shepherd’s Huts offer unforgettable lifestyle experiences.

The awards celebrate creatives and artisans as well, featuring names such as Berdoulat in Bath and The Hambledon Gallery in Blandford Forum. Meanwhile, innovative lifestyle services and retail outlets reflect the area’s dynamic and entrepreneurial spirit.

With such a range of talented finalists, the Muddy Stilettos Awards continue to shine a spotlight on the independent businesses that make Dorset, Somerset, and Bristol such vibrant and inviting places to live and visit.
