Somerset’s Elys Hutchinson Joins Made in Chelsea Three Years After Netflix Success

Elys Hutchinson, the English-Swiss model and reality TV star, is set to join the cast of Made in Chelsea as the hit series returns for its 31st season on Monday, March 16.

Hailing from Somerset with Swiss heritage, Elys splits her time between her family chalet in Villars and her home in West London. Beyond her TV fame, she is also a semi-professional footballer and a skilled ski instructor.

Elys first captured the public’s attention after winning series five of Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle in 2023. Following that success, she appeared on Perfect Match, where she was paired with Harry Jowsey. During her time on Too Hot to Handle, Elys had relationships with Hunter Lonigro and Alex Snell, continuing her romance with Alex post-show before they eventually parted ways. Although previously linked to Nathan Soan Mngomezulu, Elys is currently single and ready to explore new relationships.

With a strong social media presence, Elys boasts over 500,000 Instagram followers, sharing stunning photos from her travels and stylish fashion looks. She also engages a large following on TikTok, where her content ranges from skiing tips to makeup tutorials.

She’s no stranger to the Made in Chelsea cast, already having connections with cast members Yasmine Zweegers and Chuggs Wallis. Chuggs has hinted at a season filled with tension as the squad heads to Scotland, explaining that the focus has shifted from romantic encounters to testing friendships.

Chuggs shared, “This season feels more personal. With arguments involving friends or mutual friends, the emotional weight falls on individuals, making it a challenging experience.”

Made in Chelsea returns to E4 on Monday, March 16 at 9pm, promising plenty of drama and excitement for fans.
