Somerset Receptionist Honoured as the Best in the UK

Kayla Gibbard, a receptionist at Quantock Veterinary Hospital, has been named British Veterinary Receptionist of the Year by the British Veterinary Receptionist Association. This prestigious award celebrates outstanding members of the front-of-house veterinary team who demonstrate dedication and excellence in their roles.

As one of three national finalists, Kayla stood out for her exceptional client service and leadership skills. Since joining Quantock Veterinary Hospital in 2022, she was recently promoted to client services and reception team manager, reflecting her commitment and professional growth.

Jo Lewis, practice manager at Quantock Veterinary Hospital and the award nominator, praised Kayla’s significant contributions: “Kayla is an invaluable member of our team and epitomises the best qualities of a veterinary receptionist. She provides clients with a calm, knowledgeable, and compassionate presence and fosters a supportive, nurturing atmosphere for her colleagues.”
