Little Adventurers Nursery in Victoria Park, Bridgwater, Somerset, has undergone a remarkable £250,000 renovation that revitalizes both its indoor and outdoor environments. Central to the transformation is a newly designed garden featuring artificial grass, creating a safe, all-weather play area where children can run, climb, and explore year-round—completely mud-free.
This vibrant outdoor space extends the nursery’s learning environment, fostering physical development and imaginative play in the fresh air without the typical mess. Inside, the rooms have been thoughtfully redesigned to support the unique developmental needs of each age group, making the nursery a more inspiring and functional place for young learners.
A key addition is the new on-site kitchen, staffed by a dedicated nursery chef who prepares nutritious meals from scratch daily, ensuring children are well-nourished and ready for their activities.

Nursery manager Lucy Caines expressed pride in the upgrade: “This transformation is all about giving children the very best start. Every detail—from room layout to the outdoor play area—has been carefully chosen to prioritize happiness, safety, and growth.”
The nursery celebrated the completion of its makeover with a special garden event for families on June 6. Recognized among the UK’s top nurseries and named one of The Times' Best Places to Work, Little Adventurers continues to strengthen its community with more family events planned in the coming months.
